Several Bronx hot spots are having open houses this weekend as part of a special contest for millions of dollars in grant money.
The New York Botanical Garden, Woodlawn Cemetery, Mind Builders Creative Arts Center, Bartow-Pell Mansion and the City Island Nautical Museum are competing for a piece of the $3 million prize.
The public will get to make a decision on what their favorite place is in the "Partners in Preservation."
Votes can be cast once per day online through May 21.
Officials say the top four projects will have their grant requests fully funded. They say the rest of the prize money will then be distributed out to other sites.
