Bronx pooches will soon have a lot more room to roam around after expansion plans for a Pelham Bay Park dog run gets the green light.
Community Board 10's parks committee approved an expansion of a pet friendly area near Stadium Avenue from 5,000 to 9,000 square feet. The upgrade will also include new amenities such as running water and separate spaces for large and small dogs.
State Sen. Jeff Klein (D-The Bronx) helped come up with $10,000 in tax money to pay for the project.
