A Bronx 17-year-old has been arraigned on murder charges in the fatal shooting of a 4-year-old on a playground.
Rondell Pinkerton was arrested today in the fatal shooting of Lloyd Morgan at a memorial basketball tournament at the Forest Houses.
Earlier Wednesday morning, Pinkerton admitted to police that he was handed a gun before heading onto the basketball court. The teen claims that he was shot at first and only fired out of self defense.
Pinkerton, who is being held without bail, was charged with second-degree murder, among other charges. He is due back in court on July 30.
