To promote National Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month, Bronx students organized a flash mob against teen abuse.
According to the Start Strong Bronx group, which organized the event, one in 10 high school students nationwide have experienced abuse in a relationship. As part of their awareness campaign, members of the group posed with placards spelling out qualities of healthy relationships, including communication, respect, and happiness.
The teens hope by speaking out against violence, it will help others identify the signs of a troubled relationship.
