U.S. News and World Report is giving high marks to three NYC Health + Hospitals facilities in Brooklyn.
Among those facilities is Kings County Hospital, where a heart health center is opening next month, helping people with heart problems get immediate attention.
"So that will prevent them from coming to the emergency room multiple times and getting admitted multiple times," says Dr. Inna Bukharovich.
On the other side of the borough is Coney Island Hospital, which features a huge machine that can take pictures of the heart and an X-ray that can capture multiple angles to catch blockage and disease.
Doctors say the machine assesses heart function and how well the valves open and close. That's important because the heart can pump up to 3 billion times over a lifetime.
