Kids in Brooklyn headed out to Prospect Park to take part in the activities to celebrate the massive snowfall.
The blizzard brought a record amount of snow to the area and many children took advantage of it. Kids and their parents spent the day sledding and building snowmen, among other activities. Many say the sledding hill at the park has become something of a landmark.
The park hosts winter activities on days with at least five inches of snow.
