Students across Brooklyn were excited for their first day back in school despite facing an ongoing heat advisory and extremely humid and hot conditions.
Parents outside of I.S. 68 came to brave the heat and pick up their kids. The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory through 6 p.m. on Friday.
The Department of Education tweeted out yesterday that all schools would be limiting outdoor activities and move them to air-conditioned indoor settings.
