The brother of a slain three-time Golden Gloves boxing champion from The Bronx is keeping the family name alive in the ring.
Ronniel Vargas, 19, will take part in the 4th Annual Ronnie Vargas Memorial Boxing Card this month in memory of his older brother, who was shot to death four years ago.
Vargas began boxing at age 6 and used to train alongside his sibling, but has kept on fighting without him.
