The community came out on Thursday to support those who lost nearly everything in a massive fire that broke out in Bushwick last week.
Families were given clothes and supplies at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, picking up everything from shoes to hygiene products and more.
Council Member Sandy Nurse joined Bushwick residents for the fire relief drive. The fire required over 200 firefighters to put it out and now dozens of families are just looking to pick up the pieces and move forward.
