Bronx residents heading outside Friday bundled up against the unseasonably cold, wet weather
Many people were surprised to see the mercury dip into the 30s in mid-October, forcing them to break out their winter gear earlier than usual.
"Have someone get you hot chocolate by the time you get home," advises commuter Sal Cunningham.
Bronx residents say if this cold spell is any indication, New York City is in for a rough winter.
