Dozens of Buddhists in Brooklyn are paying respects to their ancestors at the Watt Samakki Buddhist Temple.
The celebration lasts for 15 days and ends Oct. 12.
The community is praying that their ancestors' spirits are with them. They are also enjoying Cambodian food and spending time with relatives.
