Cardinal Hayes High School boys basketball team kicked off 2012 with a big win at the New Heights Holiday Hoop Festival Monday night.
With a winning 8-1 record, the players went up against Bishop Ford Central Catholic High School.
Hayes brought home the win by a dozen points, 51-39.
