Principals at Brooklyn charter schools say it's difficult to attract teaching talent despite offering more money than the city's Department of Education.

Sheila Joseph, the principal of East New York Prep, says she is in the process of hiring teachers and is paying up to 25 percent more than the city. Joseph has hired a staffing agency to help her recruit qualified teachers.

Experts say that as Mayor Michael Bloomberg puts more focus on developing charter schools, there should be more employment opportunities.
