The cherry blossoms will be in full bloom this weekend at the 35th annual Cherry Blossom Festival at Brooklyn Botanic Garden on Washington Avenue.
The celebration of the cherry blossoms is a tradition that is also celebrated in Japan. Visitors can enjoy a bounty of flowers, performances by dancers, musicians, samurai swordsmen and cosplay actors.
Anyone who would like to attend can buy tickets ahead of time for April 30 or May 1.
