Citymeals on Wheels in Brooklyn helped to deliver some holiday provisions to needy residents Christmas Day.
Volunteers prepared 1,000 meals to be delivered to homebound and elderly neighbors in Bushwick.
Organizers say this is the 10th year they have prepared meals.
Recipients of the meals say it feels good to know someone is thinking of them.
