The city's Department of Transportation has done a sight survey of a dangerous County Club intersection and is expected to install new street markings soon, according to Councilman James Vacca (D-The Bronx).
Residents are calling for a four-way stop at Spencer Drive and Kennelworth Place, which was the site of two accidents in just two days last month.
"I don't doubt the sincerity that the effort is going to be done, the problem is that we the citizens want things done yesterday. It's sad that accidents have to occur before we do something about it," says Tony Lorento, who lives nearby.
