A Clinton Hill teen has proved to be quite an entrepreneur by creating her own heated hair-styling tool.
Nia Simone, 17, says her family inspired her to research how to created the styling tool that is safe to use on both hair and a weave.
"It's a titanium blade it goes from 180 degrees to 450, it has automatic shut-off, the heat locks, the type of heating plate that it has makes it heat up in seconds instead of having to sit and wait for it." says Simone.
Since launching the product in November, Simone has sold 150 straighteners. She says it will go up for sale on Amazon within the next month.
