Community leaders are making a push to install 24-hour security cameras at Haffen Park following the fatal shooting of a 14-year-old boy.
Nathan Dukes is one resident who is taking the safety of the neighborhood into his own hands after Kemar Brooks was killed near the park's tennis courts less than two weeks ago. He says Brooks' killer may have already been caught if the area was under surveillance.
Many say that if they can't get government funding to install the cameras, then they plan to go door-to-door in an effort to raise the needed money privately.
