Police say that a Prospect Heights man has been arrested and charged with the death of his own mother.

According to authorities, Andrew Bell, 28, repeatedly stabbed 43-year-old Coleen Mosley. They say she was found inside her apartment at 487 Marcy Ave. unconscious and unresponsive Monday morning with wounds to her head and body.

Bell is charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
