About 200 fathers in Brooklyn were invited to participate in 'Dads Bring Their Kids to School Day' today.
Fathers walked their children to the Waverly School of the Arts in Brownsville for the third annual tradition which celebrates fathers.
They were invited inside the school where the dads received a breakfast of bacon and eggs, and fruit and bagels.
Organizers say a few lucky fathers also won tickets to a Brooklyn Nets game for Friday night during a raffle.
School organizers say a representative from the Young Men's initiative spoke with fathers about the importance dads can have on instilling confidence in their young students.
The representative also spoke about the importance of education and how crucial dads can be when passing on important life lessons to their children.
