A murder mystery has rocked a close knit Brooklyn neighborhood, and now, many are questioning why a beloved resident was stabbed to death.
Police say Anthony Giunta, 50, was found dead with several stab wounds to his torso on the third floor of his home at Bay 28th Street Tuesday.
Police say a family member made a 911 call about an unconscious man. When police arrived, they found Giunta?s bloody body just after 6 p.m.
Many neighbors on the block say they knew Giunta since he was a child and could not believe he was murdered.
Neighbors say police may be questioning a young man that was friends with Giunta in connection with his murder.
Police would not confirm whether or not they have a person of interest, and no arrests have been made.
