The Department of Sanitation is gearing up for today’s winter storm.  

DSNY Commissioner Ed Grayson says sanitation crews are well prepared for the snow event.  

Commissioner Grayson says crews started salting the roads last night in preparation for slippery road conditions.  

Commissioner Grayson recommends that drivers should stay off the road if possible. He says if you do have to drive, be prepared to add additional time to your commute and drive slowly
