Dexter Bostic, the third man accused of fatally shooting Detective Russel Timoshenko, was found guilty on all counts Friday.
Bostic was convicted of aggravated murder in the first degree, aggravated attempted murder in the first degree and three counts of criminal possession of a weapon. He faces up to life in prison. Closing arguments were presented for Bostic on Thursday. He is the first man convicted of murder in the case. According to Bostic?s attorney, they intend to appeal.
Timoshenko?s relatives were devastated to hear a not guilty verdict returned Wednesday night in the case of Robert Ellis, one of the three men accused of murdering Timoshenko and wounding Detective Herman Yan during a routine traffic stop last year.
