Brooklyn parents say they're pleased with the news that two Brooklyn schools will be merged, following approval from the Department of Eduation's panel for Educational Policy.
At a special hearing at Brooklyn Tech High School tonight, parents plead their cases to the panel. Those who spoke in favor of the merger say the charter school will give their children more space to learn.
The DOE also voted to merge another charter school with P.S. 22 in Prospect Heights.
