Dog left for dead in Soundview on the road to recovery
A dog in Soundview is on the road to recovery today after being left in a puddle of its own blood. Neighbors found the dog, named Casey, tied up Thursday afternoon with both her wrists bleeding profusely.

A dog in Soundview is on the road to recovery today after being left in a puddle of its own blood.
Neighbors found the dog, named Casey, tied up Thursday afternoon with both her wrists bleeding profusely.
A neighbor showed News 12 The Bronx how Casey got hurt, they said the owner left the dog in a room behind a door and when the dog heard a familiar voice, she got excited and tried to break through it.
Neighbors say they called every city agency they could to help the dog but none were willing to help.
The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals says a family took Casey in and patched up her wound.
