Dreamland park will reopen for the holiday weekend despite being accused of not paying its rent.
The owner of the land, Thor Equities, shuttered the park after it says the amusement park owners were behind in rent. Two weeks ago, when the park was closed, employees showed up for work to find the gates locked. The president of the park claimed it was an illegal eviction.
The owner of the park, Anthony Raffaella, says he has cut a deal with Thor Equities to keep the park open this weekend for the last hurrah of the summer. It will remain open through Monday night.
