One person was killed and more than a dozen residents have been displaced after an early morning fire in Williamsbridge.
Police say the flames erupted at the 225th Street building shortly after 5 a.m. The building's superintendent, who was in his 60s, was rushed to Montefiore Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
According to police, no criminality is suspected and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
