Thursday's wild weather led to serious flooding in East New York – an ongoing problem, according to residents there.
Cars swerved by Cozine Avenue and Cleveland Street Thursday afternoon to avoid the mess left behind by heavy rains.
Locals say they have stopped parking on the street because of how inconvenient that can be during inclement weather.
"We get stuck, and then due to the weather conditions it gets icy, and then it causes conflict with your vehicle, so it's not a good place to be," one person said.
Aside from driving, it was even more inconvenient to walk along the sidewalk, with the water level being higher than 1 inch.
