One person is under arrest after an elderly man was stabbed with a pair of scissors in Melrose.

According to EMS officials, the 76-year-old victim was attacked at around 8:30 p.m. Sunday night on East 156th Street and Forest Avenue. He was taken to Lincoln Hospital with head trauma, but is expected to be OK.

Police have not released the names of the victim or the suspect, but say the two know each other.
