No one won the Mega Millions jackpot in Tuesday night’s drawing, but Long Island has a second-place winner.
A $1 million winning ticket was sold at E Smoke Shop on Linden Boulevard in Elmont.
Owner Mohamed Azan says he just opened the store three months ago. On Wednesday, he had a steady flow of customers hoping it will be lucky once again.
The grand prize has jumped to $868 million, the second largest lottery prize in U.S. history.
The next Mega Millions drawing will be held Friday night.
