The former executive director of the Bronx Community Pride Center has been arrested for allegedly stealing more than $140,000 from the organization.
According to a criminal complaint, Lisa Winters used funds that were allocated to the center to pay for dog walking services, a personal trip to Africa and other vacations. She's also accused of falsifying records.
Winters was released on her own recognizance and is expected in court Aug. 14.
