Family members and friends of a young man who was tortured and killed earlier this month called on witnesses to come forward Tuesday.
Amani Miller was tortured, stabbed repeatedly and finally shot in the head, police say. They found his body on the fifth-floor of the Bay View Houses on March 14. His family says he had gone to work doing deliveries for the construction company he worked for.
Police have not made any arrests.
Surveillance video shows a livery cab that police say may have picked up the person responsible.
Friends say Miller did not use drugs and had no gang connections. He was also not known to hang out in the Bay View Houses.
