The family of slain Brooklyn boy celebrated his life Saturday on what would have been his second birthday.

On July 12, 1-year-old Davell Garder Jr. was hit by a stray bullet while in his stroller.

“I just try not to overthink it because when I overthink it, that’s when the emotions come up," his father told News 12.

Since then, the family has joined a chorus of groups urging guns to be taking off the streets.

NYPD Chief of Detectives Rodney Harrison said this week that two people of interest were in custody after committed other crimes.
