A Cypress Hills family is offering a $1,000 reward to help catch a thief who has stolen thousands of dollars worth of items from their garage over the last few months, with the latest incident happening on Christmas Eve.

Rajindra Ramjas says the robber was caught on camera taking an air compressor, pressure washer, and power tools totaling $3,000 from his garage Wednesday night. According to Ramjas, the same thief robbed his family?s Elton Street garage over the summer, then again two times in the past two weeks. Ramjas says he just recently replaced the stolen items before they were taken again.

?I know [when] economic times [are] tough, a lot of things ? force people to steal a lot but ? I didn't expect it to happen on Christmas Eve,? Ramjas says.
