Family and friends came together today to say goodbye to a young victim of gun violence in The Bronx.
The funeral for 26-year-old Hwang Yang was held at Saint John Nam Catholic Church on White Plains Road, where the aspiring chef served as an altar boy and Sunday school teacher.
Police say Yang was shot in the chest early Thursday morning at Cambridge Avenue and West 232nd Street in what they believe was a robbery. Loved ones say Yang was returning from work in Manhattan and was only a block away from home.
So far no arrests have been made.
