The FDA is warning people about a recent spike in the number of infected tattoos.
Officials say the infections are due to bacteria in tap water that is used to dilute ink.
Tuff City Tattoos on East Fordham Road advises anyone who wants to get inked-up to ask and make sure their artist is using distilled water only.
