FDNY: 1 injured in 2-alarm Borough Park fire
The FDNY says one person suffered minor injuries as a result of a two-alarm fire in Borough Park Sunday afternoon.
Officials say that the fire occurred at a building on the corner of 57th Street and New Utrect Avenue at around 4 p.m.
Fire officials say that it took them under an hour to put out the fire.
The three-story mixed use building has a store on the ground level and apartments.
Investigators say the fire was on the second floor, but it is unclear where the fire started.
Families who live in the building say they were unsure if and when they would be let back in.
The FDNY says the person who was injured was taken to the hospital.
