2h agoA fire in Bed-Stuy has taken the life of one Brooklyn resident, according to the FDNY.
The fire broke out in a large apartment building along Prospect Place just after 8:30 p.m. Fire officials say that the fire is under control, but members of the FDNY and Red Cross were seen at the scene late on Thursday aiding residents who may not be able to return to their homes tonight.
No cause for the fire has been determined at this time.
