Three people have been hospitalized following a fire at a Kingsbridge Heights apartment.

Authorities say the building at 2575 Sedgwick Ave. went up in flames around 5:30 a.m.

Firefighters were able to get it under control, but three individuals had to be transported to a hospital.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
