A 59-year-old man died in a fire that broke out in Cypress Hills on Monday night, according to the FDNY.
Fire officials tell News 12 the call for the fire came in just before 7:30 p.m. A car outside of 6 Marginal St. West was engulfed in flames when first responders arrived at the scene.
The victim in the fire was pronounced dead at the scene. Both fire marshals and the medical examiner are investigating the cause of the fire and the cause of the man's death, respectively.
