One firefighter was injured after a warehouse containing pasta and catering supplies caught fire in Brooklyn.
It happened around 11:00 p.m. Sunday on Parkside Avenue in Prospect Lefferts Garden. The five-alarm fire broke out inside a warehouse owned by the New York Pasta Authority, according to online sources.
Fire officials say the fire started in the top portion of the building and spread to the roof damaging a church and other buildings around it.
The firefighter was taken to Kings County Hospital, and is expected to be OK.
Two schools are across the street from the warehouse, and fire officials are still investigating what caused the blaze.
