An apartment building in Park Slope had to have its residents evacuated Tuesday morning due to a fire on the fourth floor, fire officials say.
Firefighters responded to 439 16th St. for a heavy fire on the fourth floor of the building after 6 a.m.
Firefighters conducted a rope rescue mission to bring an injured man in the building to safety.
FDNY officials say the fire started in the kitchen of an apartment.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
