FDNY personnel responded to a large truck fire Tuesday morning along Nostrand Avenue in Brooklyn.
Flames erupted from the front of the truck located around the intersection of Herkimer Street and Nostrand Avenue at around 7:30 a.m., according to fire officials.
While firefighters were able to contain and put out the fire, the front of the truck was severely damaged. The fire looks like it started where the engine is located, melting the front end of the truck and leaving the septic tank it was carrying intact.
The vehicle was part of the Callahead Fleet corporation, which services portable toilets and holding tanks.
No one was injured during the fire.
