Fire officials say two people were hospitalized with minor injuries Sunday morning after a shuttle bus transporting Fresh Direct employees crashed into a parked freight train.
They say the two people were transported to NYC Health + Hospitals Lincoln for their injuries.
An employee tells News 12 The Bronx a shuttle bus picks up employees from the train station and brings them to work. She says she and her coworker normally take the shuttle around 4 a.m., but missed their train to get to the bus by one minute.
It is unknown what caused the crash.
