A Caribbean Flamingo hatchling has taken its first steps at the Bronx Zoo.
The Wildlife Conservation Society captured the baby's first moments at the aquatic bird exhibit.
The flamingoes hatch with white plumage, but develop their trademark pink coloration from pigments in the algae and crustaceans they eat.
