Floyd Bennett Field housing migrants through the storm

Winter weather is on the way and one place that’s been susceptible to extreme conditions is Floyd Benett Field.
The site currently houses thousands of migrants in tents.
The migrants staying at Floyd Benett Field are not under a curfew just yet.
The 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew kicks in on Monday.
A spokesperson from City Hall tells News 12 the curfew policy will allow more efficient capacity management for migrants in the city’s care.
Last Tuesday’s storm called for migrants to be evacuated due to the extreme conditions.
There is no word on if that will happen during tomorrow’s storm.
