The new Ford Amphitheater in Coney Island is set to rock the boardwalk this summer.
Big acts like New Kids on the Block and the Beach Boys have already booked shows.
At a grand opening celebration on the boardwalk Wednesday, organizers made it official with a ribbon cutting.
The Beach Boys will perform on the Fourth of July before the fireworks show.
The amphitheater seats 5,000 spectators and has a view of both the beach and the ocean.
Mayor Bill de Blasio says the project has already created more than 200 jobs, and more are on the way.
