Fordham students rallied tonight after racial slurs were smeared on campus walls multiple times.
A student at the Rose Hill campus says she discovered the "n-word" scrawled on her door back on Feb. 7. The same word was also found by custodians in a Bronx campus bathroom last Friday.
Officials also say a homophobic slur was found in a Lincoln stairwell a few weeks ago.
More than 200 students gathered and demanded action claiming school officials are not doing enough to stop racial tension on both the Rose Hill and Lincoln Center campuses.
Vice President of Student Affairs Jeffery Gray said in a statement, "There is no indication that this incident is related to the previous two, but we are taking these occurrences very seriously."
Students and local leaders say the school's current investigation is too little, too late.
