A former police officer from The Bronx was back in court yesterday for allegedly killing his wife last March.
Eddie Coello is accused of strangling Tina Adovasio in their Throgs Neck apartment and then dumping her body off the Taconic Parkway. He has pleaded not guilty.
In court, Coello's lawyer was handed a packet of evidence, which prosecutors will use in the case.
Coello is being held without bail in protective custody on Rikers Island. A judge says she hopes a trial will get under way April 21.
