Bronx veterans in need of a little extra help can take advantage of a free community services and health fair today.
Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. and the James J. Peters VA Medical Center are hosting the event from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. in the Bronx County Building at 851 Grand Concourse.
Some of the services being offered include health screenings, employment opportunities, guidance on the GI education bill and housing information.
Even vets who are not already enrolled in VA health care can participate. Just bring a copy of your DD214.
